Abstract:
A reconfigurable balanced resonator and a reconfigurable Balanced Band-Pass Filter (BBPF) are presented in this work. The resonator is based on closed-loop transmission lines, two parallel lines and two T-sections. Reconfigurability is achieved using Eutetic Galium–Indium (EGaIn) liquid metal. A third-order reconfigurable filter was designed, fabricated, and measured to work at 2 and 1.65 GHz.
