Abstract:
Our present work is concerned with the study of a semi-infinitely long, conducting solid with a cavity in cylindrical form in the context of magneto-thermo-elastic diffusion with two-temperature and three-phase-lag effect. The medium we have considered here is supposed to be initially quiescent. The material is assumed to be made of an isotropic homogeneous thermo-elastic material and put in a magnetic field which is uniform and acted in the direction of the axis of the cylindrical cavity. The solution to the problem is done in Laplace transform domain. Inversion process is applied to obtain the solution in space time domain and finally illustrated graphically.
