Electromagnetic wave scattering by half-plane and disk placed in the same plane or circular hole in half-plane

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2022, vol. 36, issue 10, 1463-1483

Abstract: The scattering by a half-plane and circular disk placed in the same plane is considered. The scattering by a circular hole in the half-plane is also considered as a dual problem. The operator equations for relative unknown Fourier amplitudes of the scattered field are presented. They use known reflection operators of the isolated half-plane and isolated disk. After the regularization procedure involving integration over the contour in the complex plane, operator equations are reduced to the singular integral equations. The discretization is discussed. The near and far field patterns are presented.
