Abstract:
In this article, a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) power divider with tri-section filtering topology is proposed. Two TE101-mode SIW cavities and one TE102-mode SIW cavity are placed in the upper and lower substrate layers, respectively. Two vertically stacked SIW cavities are excited simultaneously by one section of SIW. The TE102-mode SIW cavity is introduced to achieve 180°- phase conversion. And then, two controllable transmission zeros and a wide stopband can be obtained. Finally, a tri-section SIW filtering power divider sample is fabricated using the printed circuit board (PCB) technology; and good agreements are achieved in the measured and simulated S-parameters.
