Abstract:
In this article, we have investigated the effect of using a real feed on the performance of one-dimensional binary Huygens metasurfaces (BHMS). The designed structure has variable periods and each unit-cell consists of two dipoles with different lengths. Floquet theory and local constant period assumption are used to design these metasurfaces. The simulation results show the high efficiency of the designed structure and its beam squint capability. The results in this article make it possible to use this type of metasurface in real applications under the illumination of real feed sources.
