Abstract:
Based on microstrip-line power divider and ridge-waveguide power combiner, a high-power ultra-wideband solid-state power-combining amplifier is designed and fabricated. The Measured results show that the continuous wave output power of the ultra-wideband solid-state power-combining amplifier reaches over 100 W within the frequency range of 6–18 GHz, the maximum output power is nearly 200 W, the power-combining efficiency is approximately 80%, and the power-added efficiency is better than 14%.
