Abstract: A high-isolation and low-loss eight-way radial waveguide power divider (ERWPD) is proposed in this paper. The power-dividing waveguide cavity used to achieve input power division and the isolated waveguide cavity used to improve the isolation between output ports are not the same cavity, which causes complex circuit processing, difficult device assembly and non-miniaturization. We propose an improved eight-way radial waveguide power divider, which implements the power-dividing circuit (PDC) and the isolation circuit (IC) in the same air waveguide cavity, which is different from the available studies. The 15-dB input return loss bandwidth was about 3.0 GHz (from 6.5GHz to 9.5GHz). The isolation is greater than 20dB in the frequency range of 7.25 -9.13 GHz and the relative bandwidth is 23%. The insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB, the amplitude imbalance of the output ports is less than 0.2 dB, and the phase imbalance is less than 2.1°.
