Abstract:
In this paper, a miniaturized Gysel power divider (GPD) with sixth harmonic suppression is presented. To weaken unwanted harmonics, radial and modified T-shaped resonators replace the quarter-wavelength transmission lines of the conventional GPD. The circuit of the power divider is analyzed using the odd and even mode method. The presented Gysel power divider operates at a center frequency of 1 GHz with a reduced circuit size. The designed power divider is fabricated and measured, showing significant suppression of the second harmonic by −48 dB. The overall circuit size is 20.17 mm × 31.26 mm, equivalent to 0.10λg × 0.15λg.
