International Journal of Production Research, 2019, vol. 57, issue 15-16, 4676-4691

Abstract: The growing importance and rising influence of the IJPR in its fields of research is mirrored in its ever-growing number of citations, its large number of authors and author affiliated countries/regions and institutions. By comparing the IJPR with its top peer journals, we have demonstrated an ever-improving status of the IJPR over the years when measured against the performance of the top peer journals in the same period. We have looked into the possible future for the IJPR by providing some suggestions which aim to partially address the areas for improvement identified for the journal.
