Abstract:
This research paper addresses the energy-efficient distributed hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem with forging technology (EEDHFSP-FT) in distributed manufacturing. A mathematical description model is proposed that considers the characteristics of forging production and aims to minimise completion time and energy consumption. The model incorporates multi-resource constraints and mixed production modes while introducing an energy-saving strategy based on the analysis of residual forging heat. An elite cooperative non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (ECNSGA) is developed to solve the scheduling problem, building upon the NSGA-II algorithm. The ECNSGA utilises two hybrid initialisation rules and employs elite mutual assistance during the iterative process for collaborative optimisation. The effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm is demonstrated through comparative analyses and numerical evaluations. This research contributes to energy-efficient scheduling in distributed manufacturing and highlights the advantages of the proposed approach.
