Abstract: This compilation of essays by specialists in a number of disciplines highlights the fatal near-sightedness on the part of Enron's directors, auditors, bankers, lawyers, and analysts. The editors provide a great service to those trying to absorb some lesson from that tragedy, and they put out a call for a holistic approach by corporate gatekeepers.
