An Interview With Dr. Kathy White Loyd

Abstract: Kathy White Loyd serves on the Board of Directors for Mattel, Inc. and is an adjunct associate professor and executive-in-residence in the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is also on the Board of Advisors for the Bryan School of Business. White Loyd founded Rural Sourcing, Inc. in 2003 to provide low-cost technology services to rural America. Prior to founding Rural Sourcing, White Loyd was executive vice-president and Chief Information Officer for Cardinal Health, Inc. She also held executive information technology positions with Baxter Healthcare and Honeywell. From 1981–1991, White Loyd was a professor of information technology at the Bryan School of Business, University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. White Loyd holds an undergraduate degree and M.B.A. from Arkansas State University and a doctorate from the University of Memphis.
