Abstract:
William C. Moreland, as the Operations Manager—Restaurant Systems for MICROS-Fidelio Australia, manages the product, implementation, and support teams for MICROS in Australia and New Zealand. William joined MICROS Systems Inc. in 2007 as an installation specialist, and moved to the Australian subsidiary in 2009 as a senior implementation consultant. In 2011 he was promoted to his current role, where he manages a team of 36 consultants, product, and project managers.William and his team have successfully installed MICROS POS products in the largest casinos, hotels, TSR, and QSR restaurants in Australia and New Zealand. His experience in the hospitality industry has given William the ability to understand his customers’ needs. He works with them to develop solutions that improve business operations, reduce operating costs, and increase customer satisfaction and recognition.He received his Bachelor of Science in hospitality and tourism management from the University of Technology, Jamaica and the University of the West Indies, Mona, and a Master of Science in hospitality information manager from the University of Delaware.
