An Interview With Wiktor Doktór

Abstract: This interview aims to provide a short presentation of IT/IS outsourcing in Poland and the V4 region, from the view of one of the leading IT/BPO figures. Wiktor Doktór is an outsourcing, BPO and call contact center expert. Has over 15 years’ experience in start-up projects as well as managing large businesses. He is a designer and owner of OutsourcingPortal.pl as well as the Outsourcing & More Magazine—the only Polish–English outsourcing industry media available in Poland. Currently Wiktor is the CEO of the Pro Progressio Foundation, which supports the growth of the industry in Poland. He was nominated twice as Łódź Manager of the Year (2011, 2012); Finance Magazine considered him to be one of the most influential outsourcing personalities in Poland (2010, 2011, 2013); and in June 2013, he received the prize for the most influential outsourcing person in Poland—this prize was given by the Association of Business Services Leaders.
