Abstract:
Several electronic election systems have recently been proposed to reduce administrative cost, minimize errors, and boost participation. However, many of these systems either totally ignore the relevant security issues or partially deal with these issues. This has hindered the public acceptance of electronic election. In this paper, we will discuss and address these security threats of electronic election. A prototype system is developed to examine some of these security threats
