Abstract: The contemporary economic context requires, in addition to so many types of existing activities, new trade formulas that simplify the relationship between buyer and seller and offer to both of them maximum advantages. Cash & carry is such a system, firstly entered on the Romanian market after 1989, through METRO AG concern decision to invest in a large commercial structure, with the meaning of „payment - takeover of goods†.
