Characteristic features in persons involved in relation to children and young people with disabilities

Abstract: This paper represents the synthesis of investigations presented in the literature, on the issue of characteristic traits in people directly involved with young people and children with disabilities and the impact of specialists and the family environment on them. The research was conducted using a set of questionnaires containing: the self-assessment questionnaire, the Rosenberg self-esteem interpretation questionnaire, 1965, the scale of acceptance of others, the Emanuel M. Berger self-acceptance scale and the level of self-acceptance questionnaire. perseverance. The sample consisted of 30 people of different ages, including 7 specialists, 8 parents and 15 volunteers from the centers. Rresults show that from the point of view of self-esteem, perseverance, personal autonomy, self-acceptance and acceptance of others, the specialists ranked first, followed by parents and the last in terms of results they were volunteers.
