Abstract:
2019 was a challenging and unpredictable year. The health of people was threatened by an invisible enemy, which caused chaos through the citizens which were tried by doubtful and contradictory feelings. China was the first country to combat this unseen virus, imposing rigorous measures in order to control the spread of this pathogen. The outbreak of this pandemic occured in Wuhan (the most populated city in the centre of China) on December 12th, 2019. The first sign of the pandemic was a type of pneumonia, appearing due to unknown causes, to which existing treatments have not proven effective. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared that the coronavirus outbreak had become a pandemic..
