Abstract: We analyzed the effects of adaptation duration of the voyage in the Merchant Navy Seafarers (multinational crews) at the family life in society. Were tested a series of personality variables (ego strength, emotional maturity, etc.) that correlated with adaptability. The research methodology has provided sample pairs (the technique is that repeated assessments) immediately after the voyage and at certain intervals. Significant results are detailed in its article.
