Abstract: The hospitality industry is facing increasing demands to integrate sustainability principles into business operations in response to the growing global environmental challenge. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of organizational sustainability practices and environmentally oriented human resource management on employee well-being through work engagement at Hotel Aloft Muscat, Oman. A quantitative approach was utilized using survey methodology on hotel personnel involved in the sustainability programs' implementation. In analyzing Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the direct and indirect relationships between the research variables. The research results show that environmental certification has a positive and significant impact on employee work engagement. Conversely, environmentally oriented human resource management does not have a significant impact on work engagement. The study also found that environmentally oriented human resource management has a positive and significant impact on employee well-being, while environmental certification and work engagement do not show a significant impact on employee well-being. Moreover, work engagement is unable to mediate the relationship between organizational sustainability practices and employee well-being. These findings underscore the importance of implementing sustainability policies that provide real benefits to employees in order to support the organization's success in achieving sustainable development goals.
