Abstract: This article explores the pivotal role of stock market development in driving economic growth and stability indeveloping countries, with a focus on Uzbekistan. It identifies key challenges faced by developing nations and offersstrategic recommendations to unlock the transformative potential of a thriving stock market. Recommendations encompassregulatory enhancements, investor education, infrastructure development, investor protection, foreign investmentpromotion, market information accessibility, diversification of listing requirements, and collaboration for capacity building.
