GREEN ECONOMY AND DEVELOPMENT, 2023, vol. 1, issue 7

Abstract: This research aims to explore the crucial gap in the context of green development and human capital, focusingon the need to bridge the disparity between environmental sustainability and skill development. While green developmentinitiatives strive to promote sustainable practices, the role of human capital in effectively implementing and driving theseinitiatives remains understudied. This study seeks to address this gap by examining the current state of human capitaldevelopment in the context of green development and identifying strategies to maximize the potential of individuals inachieving environmental sustainability goals. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitativeinterviews with key stakeholders, analysis of existing literature, and quantitative surveys to provide a comprehensiveunderstanding of the challenges and opportunities related to human capital and green development. The findings willcontribute to policy recommendations and practical interventions aimed at empowering individuals and organizations toactively participate in green development efforts while simultaneously fostering sustainable economic growth.
