Abstract: This paper explores the directions for sustainable tourism development in the Namangan region of Uzbekistan.Namangan, with its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, holds significant potential as a key tourism destination in thecountry. The paper examines the current state of tourism in the region, its opportunities, and the key challenges hinderingsustainable growth. The focus is on maximizing the economic benefits of tourism while ensuring the preservation ofnatural resources, cultural heritage, and the involvement of local communities in the tourism process. Scientific proposalsand recommendations are provided to align tourism development with sustainability principles.
