THE OPPORTUNITIES OF PERSONALIZING TOURISM SERVICES THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract: This article explores the growing potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in personalizing tourism services,emphasizing its application in Uzbekistan’s tourism development and digital transformation process. As AI technologiescontinue to advance, tourism enterprises are leveraging data-driven tools to enhance customer satisfaction, optimizeoperational efficiency, and foster sustainable tourism practices. The study reviews international experiences andevaluates their applicability to Uzbekistan’s context, particularly focusing on AI-powered personalization, predictiveanalytics, and intelligent recommendation systems. The methodology is based on a qualitative analysis of secondarydata, policy documents, and international case studies. Findings indicate that AI technologies can significantly enhanceuser engagement, strengthen destination competitiveness, and facilitate the digital modernization of Uzbekistan’s tourismsector. The paper concludes with recommendations for policymakers, emphasizing infrastructure development, digitalliteracy, and collaborative innovation as prerequisites for effective AI integration in tourism.
