Abstract: This scientific study examines the economic nature of investment funds as financial intermediaries, their role inthe securities market, and their impact on the development of the national economy. The research analyzes domestic andforeign scientific approaches to the concept of investment funds, identifies their organizational and legal characteristics,and highlights the mechanisms of their operation within the financial market system
