Abstract:
In the past decade, the global economy has undergone rapid, volatile, and transformative developments acrossa wide range of countries. These dynamic shifts necessitate a revision of traditional economic analysis and the formulationof new conceptual frameworks. This study presents a comparative evaluation of the impact of merchandise exports andimports on GDP between Uzbekistan and its major trading partners. The empirical investigation applies econometrictechniques, including the Pooled Ordinary Least Squares (Pooled OLS), Fixed Effects, and Random Effects models. The findings provide practical insights into how trade dynamics influence macroeconomic performance, particularly GDPgrowth.
