Forecasting and mitigating risks in international projects based on financial management principles

Abstract: This article explores the challenges of managing financial risks in international projects. It focuses on identifying,evaluating, and forecasting these risks using modern financial management approaches. Particular attention is givento risk forecasting techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis. The studyalso highlights strategies for mitigating risks, including hedging, diversification, insurance, and financial monitoring. Byanalyzing international practices and case studies from Uzbekistan, the paper proposes practical recommendations toaddress existing issues. The findings aim to enhance the effectiveness of risk anticipation and management in internationalfinancial project implementation.
