Abstract: Amid ongoing market reforms and digitalization, Uzbekistan’s economy is undergoing a profound structuraltransformation, with the service sector emerging as a key driver of this process. Despite its growing economic significance,the theoretical understanding of services remains limited and fragmented within the national academic discourse. Thisstudy addresses the existing gap by developing a comprehensive theoretical framework for analyzing services in thecontext of Uzbekistan’s economic transition
