GREEN ECONOMY AND DEVELOPMENT, 2026, vol. 4

Abstract: Digital transformation has fundamentally changed the way organizations operate, communicate, and deliver services. While the adoption of advanced technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) has created new opportunities for innovation and efficiency,it has also introduced significant cybersecurity risks. This study examines the major cybersecurity challengesemerging in the era of digital transformation and explores effective solutions to mitigate these threats. Theresearch methodology is based on a systematic literature review, comparative analysis of cybersecurityframeworks, and evaluation of current security practices across different sectors. The findings indicate thatcyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, targeting critical infrastructures, organizational networks, and personal data. The study concludes that organizations must adopt integrated cybersecurity strategies, including advanced threat detection systems, employee awareness programs, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance mechanisms to ensure sustainable digital transformation
