Abstract: The textile industry occupies a pivotal role in Uzbekistan’s export-oriented economic strategy,serving as a major source of employment and foreign exchange earnings. This study examines trends in textileproduction output and the principal factors shaping its dynamics. Drawing on data from national statisticalsources and international organizations, the research investigates the influence of production capacityutilization, capital investment flows, labor productivity, raw material availability, technological innovation, andexport market expansion on overall output volumes. The study further evaluates contemporary developmenttrajectories within the sector and formulates evidence-based policy recommendations aimed at sustainablyincreasing production. The findings are intended to support the operational efficiency of textile enterprises andadvance the long-term competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s textile sector in global markets.
