Abstract: The effectiveness of higher education institutions largely depends on the competence,motivation, and productivity of academic staff. In the context of globalization, digital transformation, andgrowing institutional competition, human resource management (HRM) practices have become importantstrategic tools for improving academic staff work efficiency. This study examines the relationship between HRMpractices and academic staff efficiency, focusing on professional development, leadership support, employeemotivation, performance management, career development, recognition, and institutional support. Theresearch is based on survey data collected from 106 academic employees and applies descriptive statistics,reliability analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression using STATA software. The findings show thateffective HRM practices positively influence academic staff efficiency by improving professional competencies,motivation, organizational commitment, and the working environment. Professional development, leadershipsupport, employee motivation, and institutional support were identified as the most influential factors. Thestudy recommends the implementation of integrated HRM strategies based on continuous development, fairperformance evaluation, recognition, career opportunities, and organizational support
