Abstract:
This paper presents the perspectives of the Romanian Electronic Payments System in the context of the adoption of the euro as the national currency. Essentially, this work aims to set the actual stage of the implementation of SEPA in Romania, compared to other EU countries and the implications and the benefits of the migrations to the Single European Payment System for the Romanian banking system.
