Abstract: This work aims to assess the impact of the creation of a Euro- Mediterranean free-trade area on the Moroccan economy and to simulate some accompanying economic policies with the help of a general equilibrium model computable in imperfect competition and with increasing returns on scale. The accompanying economic policy is essentially based on boosting national savings and upgrading companies as well as on a foreign exchange policy. The outcome highlights the prominent role played by some economic policy modes in the successful integration into the free-trade area.
