P. Balakrishnan: Dr. Balakrishnan is the Managing Director of Aurolab, a non-profit manufacturing unit of the Aravind Eye Care System, Madurai, India. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in India and doctorate from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
