Melinda Kimble: Melinda Kimble is a senior vice president at the United Nations Foundation, where she oversees the International Bioenergy and Sustainability Initiative and serves as a senior policy advisor on energy, climate, and global governance issues. Before joining the U.N. Foundation, Ms. Kimble held several policy-level positions in the Department of State, including in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, overseeing multilateral development issues and debt policy; in the Bureau of Oceans, International Environment and Scientific Affairs (OES), leading environmental negotiations (e.g., Climate Change Conference, Kyoto, Japan, 1997); and in the Bureau of International Organizations. Her assignments abroad included Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, and Tunisia.
