Abstract: An increasing body of research indicates that through the application of technologies of consciousness that unlock the hidden reserves of the brain it is possible to increase intelligence, creativity, and entrepreneurship in students of all ages. The key to this strategy is to provide the experience of transcending, which is most readily accomplished through the easily learned Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi program. Numerous studies have reported that transcending leads to increased coherence and integration of brain functioning, which is positively correlated with improved moral reasoning, increased creativity, greater mental adaptability, and higher-level management skills. Experience in schools and universities worldwide, including students from disadvantaged backgrounds, confirms that students receiving a Consciousness-Based education not only exhibit superior academic outcomes, better health, and improved social behavior but also have significantly reduced school dropout rates and increased graduation rates. When individuals, such as students in a school or university, practice the advanced TM-Sidhi program, including Yogic Flying, together in a group, research indicates a decrease in the acute social stress that fuels crime, violence and conflict.
