Climate Resiliency: A Local Perspective

Robert Azrin, Tiffany Wise-West, Amy Knowles and Leah Bamberger

Municipal Finance Journal, 2021, vol. 42, issue 3, 103 - 113

Abstract: Three panelists provide an overview of their roles as municipal sustainability and resiliency leaders. They discuss what some of the key challenges and opportunities are for cities as they seek to create climate resilient communities and explore to what extent proactive adaptation planning can prepare localities for climate change. They also consider what investors should keep in mind when they assess a municipal issuer’s climate preparedness efforts.
