Abstract:
As demand for socially responsible investing increases, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors have become hot topics for the financial community to understand and assess. This panel focuses on the much needed social and governance aspects of ESG, with the panelists giving an overview of the U.S. municipal market, discussing responsible investment and what that means, what are the “S” and “G” factors, why the verification business is important, and what investors should expect regarding disclosure.
