Abstract: Indonesia merupakan pasar potensial bagi bisnis eceran (retail), mengingat bisnis eceran menjangkau langsung konsumen akhir sebagai pasar sasarannya. Dengan 188juta penduduk dan jumlah kelas menengah (the rising middle class) yang semakin memiliki daya beli, maka hal itu jelas berpengaruh pada prospek bisnis eceran.
