Abstract: Pada tahun 1970, Alvin Toffler menerbitkan karyanya yang mengesankan berjudul Future Shock. Dengan uraian yang dramatik ia mengemukakan hipotesis bahwa perubahan melanda demikian cepat hingga manusia sebagai insan dan dalam kerangka organisasiny masing-masing tak mampu menyesuaikan diri atau menghadapinya.
