Abstract: The article analyses the role and participation of farmings for population in Carpathian macroregion in the reproducing process of the land resources. It is investigated the reasons and shortcomings which slow down the proper organization of the landed farmings by peasants. It is also suggested some measures for improving the usage, preservation and safeguarding the plots of land by small land owners.
