Abstract:
The article outlines the peculiarities of the sugar production process. The general overview of the Ukrainian sugar industry has been fulfilled. Additionally, the exporting potential of Ukraine has been analyzed. This research paper also reviews the main problems of the sugar industry on the current stage of the agricultural crisis and considers the prospects of the further development of Ukrainian sugar production. It is determined that the basic ways of increasing the sugar production economic efficiency is the growth of its productivity, lowering the expenditures and expanding the selling channels.
