Abstract: In the context of analyzing concepts, approaches and models of forest management development, methodological tools have been enriched by such concepts as substitutional and critical natural capital. Forest management of Ukraine is characterized by a gradual, but unjustified transformation of critical natural capital into substitutional. Formation of an integrated model of sustainable forest management is an urgent issue, for which a conceptual functional scheme has been developed in this article.
