Abstract: The article analyzes the scientific principles, methodical and practical approaches to measuring different kinds of food-processing companies, assessing its effectiveness and efficiency in different economic systems and considering the level of productive forces. Particular attention is paid to the problem of achieving the planned results in a volatile economic environment and the transition to innovation model of development. Means and tools of integration of agro-industrial chain, the introduction of which will contribute to achieving the planned results and efficiency of enterprises are revealed.
