Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the banking systems’ performance of the Commonwealth of Independent States member countries. The characteristic of their activity at the present stage and in the period before the global financial crisis of 2008 year is given. The comparative analysis of individual indicators of banking systems development of CIS countries is presented. The amount of capital outflow through their banking systems in post-crisis period is determined.
