Abstract: In the article the methodology of using the tools of strategic analysis (based on the applying of the Balanced Scorecard) is theoretically grounded and adapted to the process of forming of resource potential of banks. The suggested approach will enable banks to improve the process of planning and implementation of the resource strategies in the conditions of dynamic development of environment and increasing competition in financial markets.
