Abstract: The paper considers the problem of improving the institutional environment of land use in the growing position of large agro-industrial associations. Using the classification and canonical analysis shows the discrepancy between land-use efficiency and increasing the area of agricultural land in private ownership. Ways for the support of the farming and private farms development are proposed.
