Abstract: The article outlines the major demand for rail passenger transportation, it is proposed the transition arrangements from one type of demand to another. Increased reliability of forecasting the demand value can make high quality of planning of railway passenger flow. Full satisfy of demand will increase the density of passengers within the existing movement that will reduce the loss of rail passenger services.
