Abstract: The article deals with the theoretical and methodological bases and the experience of the touristic and recreational potential development of the Danube region. The scientific approach to construction a model of ecological and economic exploitation of touristic and recreational potential of the Ukraine's Danube region based on the cross-border cooperation is studied.
