Convergence Processes Between The EU Member-States

Abstract: The paper analyzes the process of integration in the European Union, which took place during 2000-2010. The economies of the member states converge more and more, what means that there is interaction between the countries inside the group. The study of the convergence process is carried out with the help of factor and cluster analysis of macroeconomic and social indicators that formed clusters within the EU member states. The study conducts a comparative analysis of the clusters in 2000 and 2010.
